Made It!

Yes, I achieved my goal of getting through those 24 hours without throwing up. In all honesty, I hadn't been throwing up before that--because I hadn't been eating much before that. After lunch yesterday, let's just say that the not-vomiting thing seemed like a high and lofty goal.

Yesterday I was more energetic than the day before, but that energy got used up by some emotions, particularly worry about a friend's health though a few other things were mixed in there as well.

Today I wish I'd gotten much more sleep last night. Eh, this is survivable.

Feeling better, but not radically. How are you doing, Ms. I Love The '80s? :-)

doing ok. i spoke to the specialist on the phone a minute ago, telling her my GERD is getting worse on just the one nexium a day. she told me to go back to 2/day, and she threatened me with the nasty 24-hour pH probe that gerry had, with a tube down my nose into my stomach for a day. i could cry, but it won't do any good. here's hoping that by dec. 15 i can lose some pounds and be feeling better.

Gah. Sending good thoughts your way for getting better soon & avoiding 24-hour probes. ::shudder::
