So I picked up a prescription for a new painkiller a couple days ago, and I'm already experiencing the major side effects and none of the benefits. I've decided it's not time to give up on the medication, for the simple reason that I haven't taken any of it yet.

Gah. My body is apparently trying to tell me I need more rest. I'd have no problem listening to its message if it weren't for the fact that I haven't done anything this week. Grfle.

Right. The plan was not to take the new painkiller until I'd gotten a Ritalin refill, since possible side effects of the new drug include drowsiness & difficulty concentrating and Ritalin could help with that. Anyway, without taking the new drug, I've got the side effects of drowsiness, dizziness, muscle tremors, upset stomach, and suchlike, without any pain relief since I'm not taking the drug. In other words, I seem to be sick.

How're you doing?

Dang.

You probably just have the flu.

Hope you can get the Ritalin, take the pain meds and get over the flu.

Doing much better myself, thanks.

I hope I can get the Ritalin too, though it's not happening today. Today I'm hoping to get to the library... or possibly renew a couple books online if I'm too tired to return them this afternoon. Bleah. Yeah, if this isn't a flu bug, it's something close enough for discomfort.

Glad you're doing better, UnOne!
