Note to self: Go nowhere tomorrow. Rest. Recuperate. See if you can find enough energy to take deep breaths. I should not be this winded after walking up two flights of stairs.
Walking 4 miles on a day which began with me feeling like crap warmed over was probably not my best idea ever. But at least and at last, after many false starts over the last few weeks (including a nasty day Saturday when I and an older gentleman both discovered that the place no longer had Saturday hours), I finally got to thevampires' diagnostic technicians' office to have blood drawn for testing. Gah, I think the woman stuck that needle into my muscle, it hurts so. But now it's done and I can go back to a life where I can take my lovely prescribed drugs and don't have to fast for 12 hours if I don't want to. Yay.
Further note to self: Tomorrow, make doctors' appointments, make other phone calls to paralegals and such, make soup for lunch, make brownies for dessert, make an inventory of all the canned and dry goods you've bought with food stamps and left haphazardly piled in boxes in the bedroom, maybe even make time to download all the spam from the ISP e-mail account, but do not make yourself sicker by going for more long walks. Stay home for a change, dang it.
And too also furthermore: If your heartbeat is weak and rapid, you're feeling weak and wobbly and generally like your blood pressure is trying for single digits, and you're craving high-potassium foods, there might be a connection. Go drink a pint of orange juice already.
