Last Tuesday I woke up with a nasty headache and took some medication for it. Headache was gone in the afternoon. No headache the next day either, so I was feeling hopeful. Had a migraine on Thursday, though, so was forced to accept the sad conclusion that President Barack Obama does not cure migraines. So disappointing.
Seriously, I did enjoy joining a housemate to watch the inauguartion on the living room TV last week, although my first thought when that poet began to read was that

( Cut to spare Republican friends )So that's enough politics for now. In my own life there really hasn't been much worth writing about, unless you think that "I continued to have migraines" and "I finally bought one of those DTV converter boxes" are exciting bits of news. There's some light snow outside, which makes me happy. Since I'm feeling better this morning than on recent mornings, maybe I'll find the energy to go out for a walk in the weather later on. In the meantime, tea is proving itself to be a good and blessed thing.
