At the Library

Yesterday my computer decided that it no longer wished to recognize the existence of my modem, so I have no way to get online from home at the moment. I shall try taking the computer apart at some point and tighten up some screws or something, but that will have to wait till I'm feeling sufficiently coordinated to do so without wrecking the thing completely. So, if for some reason any of you need to get hold of me, try the cell phone. If this problem keeps up, I may not be able to participate anymore in MegaPoMo this year. (This will disappoint at least two of you.)

In other news, I put my voting socks on, went to my (very) nearby polling place, stood in line for practically no time at all*, and did my civic duty. It will surprise approximately none of you to know that I voted Obama/Biden (unless Diebold says I didn't). Happy Election Day, Americans! Soon the seemingly endless election season will be over, and people all over the world shall breathe a great sigh of relief (except those who are petrified at the thought of what the winning team might do in office).

Anyway, here's hoping I get back online to you soon. In the meantime, have wonderful lives, everyone!




*Earlier today, other people waited in line for as much as two hours. Sometimes I do have great timing.
