Post-Christmas Update
Thursday, December 27th, 2007 04:12 pmDecember 25: Went to spend the day with
stardansr and
hasufin. Whee! Well, it did take me longer to get there than I'd planned and, because of various voice mail troubles, Hasufin sent Stardansr to the Metro station to pick me up about, oh, fifty minutes or so before I actually got there. Anyway, when we were finally all together, there was plenty of tasty food and odd conversation along with a decent amount of snuggling of cats. Later in the evening there was even a Monopoly game, wherein I bankrupted Hasufin early on, but Stardansr conquered the universe in the end.
December 26: Spent much of the day sleeping. In the evening, went out to post-Christmas feast with friends and a couple of new people. Again, much excellent food and interesting discussion liberally sprinkled with really bad puns. It was fun to be with everybody and I'm very glad I went.
December 27: Waking up after four hours of sleep, I discovered that my immune system had decided to go on strike. I did manage to find enough energy to return a library book (it had been renewed the maximum number of times) and go grocery shopping (am pretty sure that chicken & orange juice are essential right now). Walked about two miles because it seemed more efficient than waiting around for a bus. Yeah. Um, I'm really going to regret that, aren't I?
Here's hoping you're all feeling better than I am--and that I feel better tomorrow!
