Please please tell me now, is there something I should know?

It's been ages since I've done a poll, and even longer since I've done one like this. Once again, I am feeling woefully undereducated. The last time I did one of these, I ended up with a recipe for Welsh cakes, which I really do need to make one of these days because they sound tasty.
