Happy September!
Friday, September 1st, 2006 10:39 pmTuesday: Temperatures outside got up to the 90s with a heat index over 100. Pharmacy still didn't have the prescription I wanted to pick up (and hope to pick up tomorrow, assuming they've finally gotten it in). Bleah. Went to the Stitch & Bitch where we all ate too much tasty grilled meat, baked beans, and chocolatey brownies--but did anyone get any stitching done? I certainly didn't. Fun time with good people anyway.
Wednesday: I don't remember any of what I did during the day, but it was great to make it out to open study! Good conversation, skritches, backrubs... yep, that worked out well.
Thursday: Rested. Oh, also went to the store for some pluots.
Friday: Woke up with a migraine which fluctuated between mild & moderate all day--not horrific, but not what you could call helpful. But the day is good anyway because the weather's been delicious! High about 30 degrees lower than Tuesday's temps, breezy, with the remains of Ernesto bringing us some much-needed rain. Thank you, Ernesto! Did some walking and got myself nicely soaked before coming back inside to change clothes, drink tea, and read books (when not napping or listening to the latest Icehouse track for the fifty zillionth time).
Tomorrow: Hopefully the migraine will be gone and I can go do something useful. Wouldn't that be nice?
