Sleep is a good thing
Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006 09:27 amSpent yesterday wandering around, eventually managing to do something useful. Finally got one big problem out of the way, which is a major relief and will remain a major relief for at least the next, oh, three or four days. Anyway, wore myself out with much walking, so I ended up taking a nap soon after supper, then decided to extend the nap till morning. The alarm annoyed me by waking me up as someone in a dream was in the middle of explaining some arcane medical thing or other, but I was happy that I got more than nine hours of sleep in there.
Still had a headache when I woke up, a combination of migraine & muscle tension. Really feeling out of it. But I choose to insist that I am not hallucinating--I did not imagine the fish swimming in the tree outside, but merely misinterpreted the shape of a strangely silhouetted bird. Also, anyone would have thought those leaves were a man's trousered legs swinging back and forth. Really.
Maybe I do need some caffeine this morning.
