hummingwolf: squiggly symbol floating over rippling water (one)
Wednesday: Wanted to go out, do things, and enjoy the company of nifty people (and cats!). My body had other plans, plans I did not enjoy. (TMI deleted.) Made me cranky.

Thursday: Less (TMI), more feeling like my body was made out of lead. Still managed to walk a couple of miles total getting some errands done in the neighborhood, but doing anything requiring public transportation was out of the question. Interestingly, while sitting indoors for any length of time led to personal brown-outs (you know, not quite blackouts), sitting at a picnic table under the trees as the wind played a glorious song in the leaves high overhead was very definitely restorative. Still felt leaden, but more alive.

Important Announcement: It's Fall! Finally Fall! Glorious, splendiferous, wondrous Autumn!!! Summer hung on far too long this year--I could feel Autumn trying to make its way through, being thwarted and kept out--but yesterday fall finally fell to earth. Or something like that. The air still felt like it was overburdened, carrying more of something-or-other than it should have. But summer was finally over.

Today: Feeling better still. More energetic, though still sub-par. Walked about 2.5 miles anyway, again running more local errands. So much stuff I still need to get done and I don't know how to do it. Now it's the weekend, so that gives me time to either (A) think about how things might possibly be done next week or (B) relax. Hopefully I'll be getting both thinking and relaxing in this weekend, because I'm pretty sure that both are needed right about now.

If I had something more to say, the thought flew out of my brain before I had the chance to catch it and pin it down. Oh well, maybe next time.
