News In Briefish
Wednesday, February 16th, 2005 07:20 pmPicked up prescriptions yesterday by doing the 2.5 mile walk when I should have been resting. Whee!
While at the store, did grocery shopping. For a change of pace, most of the things I was planning to buy anyway were on sale. Saved 31% on the total bill. Whee--this time, without the sarcasm!
Still coughing up some bloody mucus. You will be glad when I stop posting about my mucus, won't you?
Made many phone calls which were not returned.
Today, went to see a new psychotherapist. She seemed sane. This concerns me. Seriously, she apparently wants to be as helpful as the previous one wanted to be (both in dealing with psychological issues related to my disability and in dealing with the bureaucratic mess and things important for physical survival), so here's hoping we all get what we want out of this.
Realized that I had only a gifted $10 bill in my purse which I couldn't exactly use to take the bus home unless I wanted to lose nearly $9 of it. Broke the ten by buying a spinach & feta cheese croissant. This was neither the most economical nor the most pragmatic decision I could have made, but it sure was tasty for a change.
After having problems with Yahoo! Mail for a week, I seem to have fixed the problem. Apparently there was a message in the Inbox which was screwing things up somehow, and somehow I managed to delete that message in spite of not being able to see it. Now the Inbox works normally and I can't see what's in the Trash folder. Well, if something wanted to screw up my mail that badly, I didn't want to see it anyway.
