Happy Labor Day!

'Tis the American holiday dedicated to workers--and I just got off the phone with someone talking about my inability to work. Whee! (Bleah.)

Amazingly for a federal holiday, I feel like I actually did something useful today. Of course feelings can be deceiving, but this feeling is better than panic or depression, so I'll take what I can get. So, what did I do today? Oh, I went to the grocery store and made a phone call! Yep, the phone call was related to my housing situation--and I even remained relatively calm while speaking, so yay me. Of course, since this is a federal holiday, nothing actually was accomplished, but I did get two phone numbers to call tomorrow (or possibly the next day, since tomorrow's a busy doctor day) and another friendly person on my side.

In other news, I'm happy to see that most of the Floridians have managed to post since Frances' passing. Ah, sunny Florida, such a paradise.
