Daisies and Olives and Prawns, Oh My!
Tuesday, August 24th, 2004 08:10 pmToday
daisydumont came by to get her Charles Williams books back (I've only had them here since, erm, Thanksgiving 2002) and socialize at the dining room table over lunch. Along with some good conversation, we enjoyed deli salads, fruit, a variety of olives, and prawn crackers. It was great to have a real-life conversation for a change! Sure, maybe we were a trifle loud, but only because she's got an ear infection and I'm experiencing the joys of early ragweed pollen season. I hope we don't wait so long before we do this again (hopefully without the infections and allergies next time)!
After Ms. Daisy went home, I went back to the usual routine of lying down in bed and making phone calls. Eh, hopefully the calls will lead somewhere someday soon, but at the moment it feels like swimming in circles in a pool of molasses.
Back to a pleasant note, there's a beautiful non-LJ post here, courtesy of

Have a wonderful evening, everyone! (Well, perhaps except for those of you for whom it is morning.)
