I have nothing against college students, honestly, but having a whole troop of them appear in my home before ten in the morning should be against the law. On the plus side, most of these miscreants have left already for parts unknown.

Also on the plus side, I finally managed another 8 hours of sleep last night. Good stuff, sleep. Too bad I've still got enough of a sleep deficit to swallow a small... I have no idea where that metaphor was going so I'll go on to some other topic now.

For those interested in hummingwolf minutiae, breakfast was chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Lunch looks like it's going to be a dish of roman beans, rice, onions, and bacon, probably accompanied by red grapes or dried cherries (both were on sale last week). Supper will likely be cereal (either Honey-Nut Cheerios or some kind of instant oatmeal) unless I decide it's a good night for soup. There will also be chocolate at some point.

Temperatures in the mid 60s, rain with a chance of thunderstorms. I will go to the doctor's office to pick up a form that should have been turned in to social services a month ago. If that form hasn't been completed, I shall sit in the waiting room staring at people until they become uncomfortable and beg the doctor to give me what I want so I'll go away.

If whiny jam bands on Launchcast's acoustic rock station are getting on your nerves, change the darn station. Sheesh.

The Orchestre National De France Fan Station is a much better choice this morning. LC doesn't have a classical station for free users, but one can improvise.

Ah, that explains all the noise.

Frat boys. Some of them pledging, apparently.

I don't care which housemate is friends with these people, I'm thinking of locking the deadbolt until they promise to keep the noisy folks away. Nobody living here has a key to the deadbolt, you see.

On the plus side, they actually are well-behaved and polite to me (if not to each other), aside from the noise.
