(no subject)

In a post about things that keep me sane, I said, "No matter how tired I get, I feel compelled to move--I hate sitting still for very long and become exceedingly cranky if forced to do so. You do *not* want to see me when I've got a sprained ankle." Well, you also do not want to see me when I can't go out because my walking shoes have fallen apart and the only shoes I have left are ill-fitting hiking boots which give me blisters within mere hours of being strapped onto my feet. (I could walk in the walking shoes for a while if nobody minded seeing my toeses. Unfortunately, people don't want to see my toeses. Silly people.)

Or maybe you do want to see me, if you're seeing me because you're going to buy me some shoes. If the vocational rehab. guy would just answer his phone and set a date and time for the shoe-shopping, I would be eternally grateful.

As it is, though, I'd like to rip somebody's throat out. Any volunteers?
