Mmmm...

Rain falling from a tarnished silver sky. Breeze blowing unseasonably cool air through the window, rustling the hummingwolf's wings as she sighs in her sleep. When the clock radio comes to life, the odd little creature curls herself into a ball, fur and feathers keeping her warm as she looks out through soft green eyes at a soft grey world.

Okay, I wasn't really looking that cute this morning, but it did feel nice to stay curled in bed as the delicious coolth rippled over me. Some people on the radio have referred to this as "nasty weather." Bah. It's beautiful. Perfect day for relaxing in bed, reading Neil Gaiman's American Gods, drinking mugs of Chinese oolong tea. I've got no complaints at all.
