(no subject)

Had a dream in which I was instructed to prepare for a journey to some other realm and given a list of 5 sacred objects I needed to take with me, but of course I didn't have time to read the list before waking up. Don't you hate when that happens? I mean, I'll probably end up wandering in Dreamtime thinking I was supposed to bring relics and scrolls only to learn I had misread the instructions to bring relish and rolls for a spirit picnic. (Do they have ants in the Dreamtime?)

In other news, I've got a sore swollen spot on the back of my upper thigh--not quite a PITA, yet much too close for me to sit for long periods of time. No idea how it got there, though it looks like it could've begun as an insect bite. There has been much whimpering and gnashing of teeth from me this week at work when I've had to sit at somebody's desk typing for long periods of time. It'd help if there were some way for me to raise my right leg to keep it off the chair, but wouldn't you know that every desk I took over was much too cluttered for me to put my feet upon. Besides, I'm not sure the head of the school would've appreciated seeing the soles of my Nikes on his desk while he was busy filing things.

No, I really don't have anything interesting to say this week. Maybe next time.
