Nothing interesting, just my Friday

On the bad side, it's warm today--much too warm for this time of the year, especially since we only had one decent snowstorm this winter and I love snow. And I've had one of the milder migraines for most of the day, which is more fun than a severe migraine but less fun than a lot of other things I could think of if I were thinking.

On the good side, I finally made it back in to the unpaid job and did a little more work so I can feel the week hasn't been completely wasted. Had a nice conversation with the new head of the school along the way; at least, I think it would've been a nice convo if I'd been awake enough to know what was being said. Also saw a friend of mine I haven't seen since the holidays, though I didn't get the chance to talk to her very much. And to top it off, I got free food! Yes, there were some brownies & pasta salad there that I got to take home with me, so at least I'm having a good supper to end my day.

Addenda

Also on the bad side: As I was walking toward the Metro station to go to work, I was enveloped by great flying clouds of insects. A happy couple spying me took care to keep their distance, either to keep away from the nasty bugs; or, if they could not see the bugs, to keep away from the crazy woman slapping at herself for no apparent reason.

On the good side: Was eveloped by an awe-inspiring sunset on the way home.
