Black Friday
No, I did not go to a shopping mall today. I do like crowds sometimes, but only happy crowds, not impatient shoppers shoving people aside in an attempt to get the best deal on something they never really wanted anyway. I did walk through a mall parking lot on my way to somewhere else, which was bad enough.
Still not feeling all that well. Eventually I made my way to a library, which was unusually empty and quiet; checked out a couple of DVDs; carefully made my way past a crowded shopping mall; and went to a supermarket, which was also unusually empty and quiet. Here at home I've been doing things like reading or talking to relatives on the phone, but now I'm thinking it must be my bedtime and how oh how can it be only 8:40 in the evening? My bed is calling me, and you know you need sleep when your bed starts talking to you. Good night, my dears.

There have been several major adjustments (move, longer commute for me, new job for Ri). Things are starting to conform to the shape of their new container (or the container is being shifted to match us better), but it's taken some time.
