Grrr.... argh.
When a person asks questions in a response to an e-mail which contained the answers to each of the questions being asked, is it considered grounds for justifiable homicide?

Don't kill them. You'd be putting them out of their misery and doing them a favor. Never in *ANY* way help out a luser unless it is in such a way that provides you great entertainment or enjoyment[0].
What you need to do is LART (http://catb.org/esr/jargon/html/entry/LART.html) them until they learn the error of their ways[1] or until they learn to fear you to the point that they will never bother you again.
This Tech Info Message has been brought to you by your friendly[3] neighborhood
Unix Systems AdministratorBOFH[0] Such as giving them just enough rope, then watching the fun.
[1] Like a luser will ever learn.
[3] And if you believe that I've got some swap land etc., etc.

(The one that really gets me is when someone asks for an image so I send them a JPEG, and they come back with "I can't open that!!" So I place the JPEG in a Word document for them and send it back, and they're happy. These are people with certificates on their walls saying they're fully trained in Microsoft Office. Pass that LART this way when you're done with it.)

Maybe if I give my sis-in-law enough warning she can get herself and the cats out of the way before I hit my brother with the tac nukes.
