Today's update

daisydumont braved the Arctic cold and took me shopping & then had lunch here with me. I enjoyed it muchly and was glad for the company. Hooray for Ms. Daisy!
Aside from writing a few e-mails, didn't do a whole lot the rest of the day, but my mood's still better than it had been so there's hope I can do something useful tomorrow. Unless I get killed by a falling meteorite or something, 'cos you never know when that could happen.
Did read a tiny bit of a novel checked out from the library. Will not reveal which book it is as I'm deeply ashamed I never even started it before. Will say that I'm enjoying it so far. I keep forgetting to remember that good fiction is good for the soul.
