Caseworker Number One says...
She's found all my files, and she just called me up to let me know that yes, she found all the proper verifications which I supposedly hadn't turned in and she'll be processing my application tomorrow. She has no idea why I received a notice of denial and she says there is nothing I need to do about it.
At this point, I don't know whether to believe anything anyone from that office says or not. But at least one person there is actually working on my case now.

If you've made copies of everything, it might be a good idea to send copies to all 3 case workers just to be on the safe side.
But, then, that takes so much energy and who's got that to spare? It takes a healthy person to deal with all of this shite.

i lucked out when i first filed for SSI disability, and got a sweet man assigned to my case... but snce i moved back, i have gotten re-shuffled to an unhelpful wench, to say the least.
getting simple answers is like pulling teeth.
and everything she *does* give me is delivered with lectures about what i *should* have done (which i usually *did* do, only someone had lost the record of it).
i'm glad you are getting *some* progress, however intangible.
*hugs*
keep at it. i Official Types do this on purpose hoping to weed out the weak-willed.

Re:
i just gave her my best "mom" voice and informed her she *would* give me the info i needed, and i could do *without* the lectures, please-and-thank-you.
"Mom" voices are *good* ;)
