Rant, aborted.

There is something I want to rant about very, very much. But I can't do it! Every time I start to get a good head of steam, I keep thinking of exceptions and extenuating circumstances and I end up empathizing with everybody else and it all peters out.

Gah. Why do I have to be so *µ¥@¤#‰*þ!~! reasonable?!


In the meantime, it's snowing! This will fill me with a childlike glee if I allow it to. Plus, there are fluffy little chickadees hopping around on the snow-frosted tree outside my window and the occasional woodpecker with its red head adding a bit of color to the scene. I just know they're all conspiring against me, trying to convince me (for some unknown yet clearly nefarious reasons) that life really isn't all bad. And try as I will to fight it, the conspiracy is working.

Darn it. I really wanted to rant today.

Hee. I did try to rant, though. It just wouldn't come out ranty--I kept seeing things from other points of view and it all came out calm and rational-like. It wasn't fun at all.

Maybe I'll be able to rant tomorrow. I'm going to try to get hold of caseworkers and deal with bureaucrats, which holds great promise of provoking rantiness.
