Whee! (Better Day)

Today didn't really start too well. I was dizzy, still dealing with a migraine, and a bit upset with myself for not being able to get out in the morning. Still, sometime around noon, I walked a while, enjoying the bright blue sky, pleasantly autumnal temperatures, bright yellow trees, and less-bright leaves falling around me like rain. Then, late afternoon, I was feeling too unwell to trust myself to walk far from the house, but too well to stick at home. So I seem to have walked somewhere between five and five-and-a-half miles today, enjoying both the midday sunshine and the fingerpainted sky of sunset in the process.

And after all that, I still felt well enough to sit watching a movie--Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. Only problem I had while watching was that, since I've owned the soundtrack for a while, I kept getting distracted from the story because I'd suddenly be thinking about which piece was playing.

Head starting to hurt more now, which is probably a sign that it's bedtime. Have a good [relevant time of day], everyone!

I think it's awesome and amazing that you still get out and walk when you're feeling crummy. If I didn't have a toddler, I'd spend the days I feel crummy lying around... like I used to. Sure, I can rise to the occasion, but first there has to be an occasion.

Well, I wasn't feeling great in the morning, but I was feeling decidedly non-crummy compared to previous days. And anytime I've got energy that I don't use, I tend to become very cranky, so it's better for everyone if I use it!
