Short Update

Got a bunch of phone numbers this week of people who can supposedly either help with financial aid/food/etc. or at least tell me what the heck is going on. Must make a bunch of phone calls Monday, since nobody seemed capable of answering their phones today.

I enjoyed a good lunch with daisydumont today. To those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting her: She's as delightful to converse with in person as she is online. She also gave me chocolate! and books! wheeeee! :-)

The furnace has decided it doesn't like our human methods of chronology and apparently will go hot or cold whenever it darn well feels like it.

I feel an intense need to spend more time reading more books.

That is all.

(Edit: That last line's a bit misleading, I suppose. There are other things I could say in this update, but I'm too sleepy to say them. And "sleepy" may not be quite the right word here, as I'm feeling more like I'm in an altered state of consciousness rather than verging on unconsciousness. In any event, my brain state at this moment doesn't make for good rational discussion or description.)

Thank you for the company! And the food & stuff as well, but your company was definitely the best part.

Forgot to mention in my comment on your post: Good description of the restaurant & burritos. Those doorstops are pretty tasty.
