Woke up from a nightmare just a little while ago. As a rule I get about one nightmare every two years or so, though I've had several this year. The anomaly's probably explained by the fact that I'm highly stressed. Anyway, I remember that the dream was a nightmare but can't remember much about it other than that some guy kept playing music that rendered people unconscious. Oh, and someone was apparently turned into a winter coat, as I kept talking to the coat as if it were a person. Maybe I was just crazy.

Woke up to a hideously overheated house--someone's been playing with the thermostat again. I did a manual override, so now of course I'm freezing. And now somebody's running the washing machine, which is making deep grumbling sounds full of menace. Yeah, I should go back to sleep. Good night.
