Found it!

Found my Social Security card! (Hummingwolf does the Dance of Joy.)

It was in a cardboard box beside my desk that's filled with lots of stuff I should've either filed away (old bank statements) or recycled (old Entertainment Weekly magazines I neither paid for nor bothered to read) long ago. I have no idea how the card ended up there, but I'm glad I've located it now.

In other news, bachelor number 3 who was supposed to rent the last room backed out, no explanation. (My guess with this one: Mom wanted him to stay at home with her. Purely a guess, though.)

In other other news, I'm severely sleep-deprived and have exhausted my stores of coherence. Probably related to last night's insomnia and the too-early-morning conversation wherein I complained that the crickets were mocking me.

aww, bummer bout the insomnia... i used to bug my pacific time zone friends and play hundreds of games of solitaire... click. click. click. click.... (oooooops! no cricket pun intended!!)

try the melatonin!! (trust me, it's cheaper than drinking yourself into a blind stupor)
