Looking over my past LiveJournal entries, I see that there are some examples of beautiful prose I can hardly believe I wrote mixed in with lots of really prosaic prose and some sleep-deprived babblings of minimal coherence showing little evidence of knowledge of the English language. Sounds about right for a diary.

In other news, I have no other news. But in the newsy news I read that nearly half of Americans surveyed think the First Amendment goes too far, which fact would depress the Hell out of me if I were awake enough to process it.

yes, that sounds about right to me too. mine is a mix of silly, serious, and sad. oh man, why do i always go for easy alliteraton? [g]

If you've ever seen the comments section on penguinboi's journal that says "pick a peck of pickled pengies," I'm afraid the alliteration is my fault. But hey, I like silly.

Talking about scary, I balanced my checkbook just now. If I disappear early next month, it'll be because (A) my phone got disconnected or (B) I got really hungry and ate my computer. I'm in panic mode right now. I hate panic mode. I also hate hunger. Gah.

oh, dear! i hope you don't disappear for any reason. i saw your post about p/t jobs. don't know about any such, but i hope you can find one! i'll be watching your journal for news about that.
