Now wearing: A sweatshirt with a flowering plant design on it, a pair of sweatpants covered with sheep jumping over fences, a robe with giraffes on it, a fuzzy shirt with a cow-type print on it (I'm cold), and the infamous pair of leopard-print underwear which I'm afraid I'll have to give up on soon. As far as I can tell, my slippers don't have any biological theme.

Accomplishments: Did a load of laundry. Went to farmers' market. Didn't pass out in public, though I did get pretty dizzy. The market was sparsely populated today, with fewer vendors than was usual earlier in the season, and very few customers braving the cold rain. Since braving the cold rain wasn't my brightest idea of the day, I didn't stay long.

Finished reading a book about Alzheimer's. Also watched a movie. "I'll remember you, though. I remember everyone that leaves."

The cold still lingers. I'd say I'm going to be good and rest tomorrow, but I'm probably going to do an unwise amount of walking just to pick up a prescription. Theoretically, I could take a bus--

I'm tempted to suggest going to the Eastern Market on Sunday, but I don't know if I'll be up for it.

I like the idea, but not if I'm still sick then. My immune system is not terrifically happy right now.

It's that time, I think. I know many people who are sick or significantly unwell of late.

Yeah, this is the time of year I tend to get colds if I happen to be overly active (for me) and exposed to lots of people at the same time. So I knew before I joined the big crowd last weekend that I'd end up with an infection soon afterwards. As colds go, this one isn't really all that bad so far, though I could do without the ear pain.
