This morning as I sat weeping, thinking of my life and the way things never turn out as planned, I came to this most horrifying realization: I am an incurable optimist. Please kill me now.

Thank you, but optimism is seriously overrated. I don't know what happened--I used to be such a good pessimist! I expected things to go wrong and was rarely disappointed, while nowadays I have trouble even saying "things went wrong" because I keep looking for the blessing in disguise. It's annoying, really.
