So my first post of the day sounded kinda whiny there--my day ruined because I didn't get a phone call? Get real!

Well, the discussion I didn't have is one that's pretty much necessary to get my life moving. And, while the other party is a male, it has nothing to do with dating and everything to do with bureaucracy. :-P Even so, there are other things I could've done today if it weren't for so much else going wrong lately. It's been something of a one-step-forward-three-steps-back week that I'm not writing about because even I would be bored by the details.

Eep. My monitor's making scary noises. Maybe it's about to explode. That'd just be icing on the moldy cake, wouldn't it?

Must go to library tomorrow and find good books to take my mind off reality for the weekend. Life frustrating. Need literature.

One book I checked out yesterday was a translation of all the stories collected by the brothers Grimm. I borrowed something else too, but I'm too tired to get up & see what it was...

I'm getting this a little late after a very busy day yesterday. My daughter had a concert last night (most excellent), and I worked the night before and went to visit mom in the morning and speak to the doctors. I'm tired but well. How are you feeling??
