I had figured the echo's cause was something like that. It's still pretty sad, though, that every time someone calls from AT&T (the ones I hear from most often), I am forced to ask repeatedly, "What was that? What did you say? Oh, you're from AT&T? Sorry, I can barely hear you..."
You'd think they'd get a clue by now, wouldn't you?
