My little "unnecessary" purchase today: Suzanne Vega's Songs in Red and Gray. I may not have a job that pays and I may not know when I can get some cash again, but I know I need to keep those last few shreds of my sanity. Good music, good books, and trees: These three things keep me from becoming a homicidal maniac.

I feel so much better tonight.

it was my "unnecessary purchase" a couple months ago.

as it turned out, it was very necessary...

"Soap and Water"... yeah, I can see that. At the moment, though, I'm thinking of making "Penitent" my theme song.

Thanks for letting me know about your new station! I'll try to listen to it sometime this week. I have a feeling the Suzanne Vega CD is the only thing I'll be listening to for a few days, though. When I get a new CD, I usually listen to it over and over and over and over.
