For the Record
I'm still here. You know, there are some people in various medical fields who have come up with lists of personality traits and behaviors common to people with temporal lobe epilepsy, and one of the things on those lists is "hypergraphia," meaning that we write a lot.
Yeah, I'll get right on that one any day now. You betcha.
So what have I been doing lately, if not writing? Reading, mostly, lots of stuff online plus various library books. My energy levels have been wildly variable. Last weekend I had hoped to go visit friends on Friday, but was feeling too exhausted to even leave the house--and yet by last Sunday, I was doing well enough to hang out at the weekend's second Mad Science Coffee after having missed the first one on Saturday. Sunday's MSC turned out to be more Mad Science Crêpes than Coffee, but that's okay since coffee with spinach, feta, and mushrooms in it would not be nearly as appealing. MSC conversation was much as usual, with discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of various ways of taking over the Earth. I heart our mad scientists.
This weekend's been significantly less interesting. If I could think of something to say about it, I would. Other than nearly blacking out at the library yesterday while waiting in line as a ceiling fan went round and round rhythmically blocking out and revealing the light, I haven't done or experienced much of interest; and, as has been usual for me lately, I haven't really felt the desire to share much of what I'm thinking. Maybe that will change soon. This journal should be used for journaling more often.
