Don't you just love quizzes that tell you you're brilliant? Of course in actual conversation I keep forgetting very basic words while tripping over stray rules of grammar, but those are just minor details.
Yesterday's excitement: Going to Target and buying a wide variety of items in the kind of shopping trip Target is good for. Bought a bowl, a bra, some toys, some magazines, some food, and generally enjoyed having enough cash on me to get what I wanted at the time (forgive me: this is still a novelty). I still need to buy a purse, though, because I was thoroughly unwilling to spend as much as they were asking for the ones they had in stock.
Today's excitement: Erm. Excitement? I walked a total of about four blocks to buy a sandwich because I didn't have the energy to walk far enough to buy ingredients. Took in far more calories than my energy expenditure would seem to justify; but when I went for more than a few hours without eating, I was shaking and weak. So, I ate. I also read a few short stories and took some lovely long naps. Here's hoping that tomorrow I'll be able to go get something nutritious and do something useful with myself--preferably in some place with air conditioning.
