The real problem seems to be the marshmallow doesn't work that well in candy bars. At least, it doesn't seem to taste all that good in mass-produced bars with Hershey chocolate (Hershey S'mores bars taste vile to me). It's a shame, but at least now I have an idea what kind of candy to avoid in the future!
