"Livejournal is a proper place for looseness: fill it up"
Update-type thing: Friday: Walking home from the supermarket after buying stupefyingly sensible foods at sale prices, I spotted a four-leaf clover by the side of the road. I picked it and carefully tucked it in folded paper and put it in my purse, noticing another four-leaf clover beside it--and then another. I left the bonus clovers so someone else might find some luck, then went on my way. After a few yards, I saw what appeared to be another four-leafer. Peered closely at it to assure myself that it did indeed have four leaves and also left that one to grow--but picked the five-leaf clover that was next to it.
Sometimes there are advantages to walking on busy streets where exhaust fumes make the weeds mutate.
Saturday: Spent most of the day resting like a sensible person. That night, hung out with nifty people, watching anime and Team America. I must say, sometimes it's more fun to watch people watching videos than it is to watch the videos themselves!
Sunday: Recovered from the late night. Am trying to remember if I did anything at all on Sunday--does anybody else know? Nothing comes to mind.
Monday: Ophthalmologist appointment, which coincidentally was with a different office of the practice I went to in high school. Like I said earlier, the doctor didn't know what to do about most of the symptoms I went in for, or really seem to understand what I was trying to say, though he made sure my retinas are intact and eye pressure is okay. But he did insist that I take these eyedrops to increase my tear production and prevent damage, so let's hope I can cry healthy tears sometime in the near future.
Eh, the visual symptoms are probably neurological anyway. Still, I hope we communicate better next time.
Today: Went to general practitioner to discuss various options & get referral forms. Whee.
I think I had more to say when I started this update, but it's all faded away. Just as well, really--this update is long enough.
