My visual disturbances include some which closely resemble the "snow" you see when an old TV set isn't quite tuned in to a channel. The tinnitus I have is something like the white noise you hear between stations on a radio. Because of this, the elder of my brothers has said that maybe I need to figure out how to adjust my antenna, maybe buy some new rabbit ears since I seem to be caught between stations. He was joking.
Today, the psychotherapist said something which pretty much amounted to the same thing. She was serious.
So, maybe I need a new antenna for my brain (or soul). Or a spiffy cable connection or something. [Insert comments about channels and attunements here. You know you want to.]
In related news, I seem to be surrounded by people who are afraid I will think they are flaky. One of these days somebody ought to bring all you nuts and flakes together and call you breakfast cereal.
