MegaHALloween

Yes, it's new poetry from everybody's favorite artificial unintelligence, MegaHAL! I prompted him with several Halloween-related words and am now compelled to post a fraction of the results because I am so very easily amused.

halloween
An individual voter may be nectar
in my hungry fatigue, and shopping for images, i went into the halloween brew,
they remind me of wristwatches, glass polished,
years ticking by in a silver city in exchange.

when i hear them talking like i do
is my friend, and my feet were used to have?

~~~
candy
The night is almost sheer
pantyhose against the gathering dark...
exaggerate the green evenings push through eucalyptus
branches, the trees shed their perfumed skins,
the first stars easing through the trees.
and i will.
the candles burn and rave at close of day
coming in at the pacific--and all his might:
he only does it matter, since the mechanism
is the conjunction of the skies
you are my love
i got candy
easter's on its nest
in disarray: that was the titanic,
and the coiled
elbows of his wisdom.
that's the day the sun of october
we slip back to ancient times.
~~~

candy
I thought
quickened his step, and why
this is my last
good thing he'd ever see such sport,
and bread i broke with you everywhere
spinning in your fear
i won't go on forever, no matter if the river turn
and i don't remember, to nights i can't stop reaching toward,
and let my neighbor gave to me
how light waves behave when projected through
a glass hand cuts through the well
the girl's a super freak
the blue of my computer monitor,
yawning, its little primitive head a tinsel crown had set
like a rush of the types of candy.

~~~
ghosts
Baa, baa, black sheep,
where is the shark,
he lies amid the alien corn;
the graveyard draws the living person who does so. Where
ghosts are feared, the places they are by the tide,
a visitation of memories and change into gold.
his eyes, he peeks at the time
a clock-like tick-tick when he tries to weep,
remembering those you've written,
even after being warned against it...
~~~

skeletons
I'm trying to hold her baby
that are supported by skeletons of varying composition,
either in the music, the moment
in my thoughts may dim;
haste! Lest while you're lagging,
i saw at a time of this brocade,
for harvest-time and mowing,
a pulse in the autumn mist in a shoe heel,
the earth, the solid air--
a fish belly light, a lowly chirruped chorus
of a brontosaur's back,
he pushed his grandmother
back in astonishment
with shears so sharp and neat,
they do their best
to be delivered to
the impulse of delight
carried you over childhood's dark abysses,
now where my secret lies.
doubting angels fall to night;
for the child who walks down the lane.

pumpkins
Pumpkins in the mornin' til it's dark
man, we tore ourselves apart

through the scale of consciousness
according to their ruby lips
and baking in crude ovens.

~~~
pumpkins
The fairies heard a clash, and a nation shall arise,
and soup. Small sugar pumpkins are
considered best for you and i.
he watches "men behaving badly" though he'll gladly switch it off if she's got an answer
do re mi becomes another nature in my shoes
even while being immobile.
you see, i'm scared no-one
has turned into a thundercloud.
two who are old, old and gay,
rage, rage against the garden of the
sun's position in the hall,
heavy brass cylinders descended.
tick-tock, the chimes changed their tune
i'm starting up a drink"
jokes major tom
the sexual instinct. Whereas freud's theory is
incurably complex. It also reflects a self-conscious
concern in the very dirt
i have seen water.
haunted
I would steal horses
for what remains to fructify.
he didn't just nibble it,
when spooks and trolls
creep out of place
while you're passively standing and moping,
but now that i'm driving,
my lovely man, the friend of my soul from out that being in my heart, i stood repeating
"'tis some visitor," i muttered, "tapping at my sheet goes the bell!
seems as if you reduced them
it's getting harder
just another day
you know i liked the night winds blew
i am not resigned.
lovers cry because they preach in vain.
let me take you far
from camelot, through the haze-haunted land:
with many cheerful facts about the shoulders thrown
into the shape of fear to plumb to places where
those of the end of the secret,
for all i can steer yourself
forget your bag, forget yourself
forget the weather, we should always be together
or fettered
but the computer
has changed, where we remain hopelessly
ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door,
down by the aunts who sat up all these heated promises
started shortly before they begin their trip.
~~~

haunted
Beggars can't be given away
it's a fearsome business,
this single haunted memory of one life only.

~~~
goblins
In general, goblins were welcomed
because tonight i'm everything i did.
and those on ships
that circle round him thrice,
and so i could just unclench my fists,
empty out my name in vain, and i'll take refuge,
as a razor trying to move. Sex, of course, is joy...
~~~

goblins
Life is sad, believe me missy,
when the lights out it's less dangerous
here we are now
all those things i cannot explain
as you plunge down
with all the clocks, cut off the mantelpiece.

if he hears, he'll knock all day.
but i will host to witches, goblins, and a cry,
sad--how sad!--the autumn is.

masks
In your mind of its secret indulgences,
songs of the water meadows riley
spread like plankton
in the house. No bucktooth
mouth to mouth have forgotten to relax.
they are dancing and stamping on you.
stopped in this tub.
there's nothing but pain in man because they
have reverse protective functions. Hospital masks,
industrial masks, and flu masks. Other masks
have the wish
to back up those, and any success
is a leaping fire
the fear of being drawn under.

~~~
costume
A mermaid in the earth-wall in the garage so as to size and location
of costume. Stage clothes are consistently
more than my blood for a randomness to storm my days. I stand on your trellis dying
grove.
skull
A few leaves stay for a moment, there swam from under our faith
in a drifting boat with a flattering word,
the sun slow at its zenith, sweating gold,
who parches the soil in some byzantine lane,
she was 87 last week. But a frozen peach
into the skull of anyone that still forgives;
a gown made of elements, just as desire
comes from the frost.
~~~

skull
Oh,
have not the principal agency
in the startled ear of night
slanted against morning. I turn
by harboring woe in the liquids--reserving the teaspoon of olive oil. Use
a new thing dawns upon your tie.
he'd wrinkle up your name, we'd like to travel from its
effects on society or the road may take you
never the least division of an escape artist
he said, as he wept upon a tattooed
skull, so much nobler and more stillness and the public know
lemon and lime ain't the same
and the mome raths outgrabe.

"beware the jabberwock, my son!
the demand for our product line (over 150 different products) is so great we need to hide my smile.

zombie
We now perceive mars as a
zombie. Emptied of the garlic clove over the walls to keep our sorrow brief
how low does one heart go?

looking for you in your
hammers and nails,
a five-year-old boy going to say how much
to the birch wood.
the sun so hot i froze to death--susanna, don't you invade my home.
then he says--what shall i call you? A fountain in a land of mordor where the road may take you
wonder where we find ourselves elsewhere,
on a moony sheen.

tonight is the way now.

the king's messenger,
the murmurings of the acidic contents of cats, only 6 of 50 cats in
all the world--
a wooden way
these unexpected subtle risings
that might teach me yet to be lived;
and bugles calling for them kid, good god

we gonna rock down to electric avenue
and the hoofed heel of a time bomb
when he went so quickly--
brownies never wait to hear.

~~~
zombie
I often wonder when i shall come home to a
zombie. Emptied of the temple bell
through packed days, carrying speech that machine-guns out
of nothing in particular
you know that sickening thirst
who watch him night and shakes the stars
my feet upon mars
they may understand our rage
they never more return.
~~~

monster
I kept my promise
of an empty cup blown with paper down the street
go on take a close look. Do you know
this rust on the hearts of husbands and wives,

parents and children, by the death of the family
we've taken to the other signs
would i
still remains
one more shake of my sleep
i've seen the boy who had drifted off into
a corpse; the resulting monster is called a
particular political party wins a majority of high mountains.
