Update
Friday: Finally went to see a non-physical therapist. Summary of conversation:
Me: Hi, I'm under a lot of stress. [Details.]
Her: Wow, you really do have a lot of stress.
Heh. Actually there was at least one point when I half-expected her to quote Charles Williams. Perhaps one of us will bring up Descent Into Hell in future conversation. We'll see.
Since there'd been a schedule mix-up, it was too late for much useful stuff to be done by the time I'd get home, so instead I went for a walk where I'd never walked before. Usually I don't walk on bike trails--something about being a woman with too little upper-body strength & not much running speed can make one uneasy in secluded spots--but some alone time with the trees was sorely needed. It was fun watching the dramatic clouds go by overhead as well.
Then went to drop off some prescriptions from last week. Then got caught walking in some rain from those dramatic clouds overhead.
Saturday: Scrubbed bathtub & bathroom walls. Notice I didn't say that I cleaned them; they're not bright and sparkling yet. At least the worst of the mold is gone, though I must say it seems almost a shame to remove so much black and orange coloring this close to Halloween.
Also went to library. Then got soaked in more rain from dramatic clouds.
Sunday: Did lots & lots & lots of walking, on highways, bike trails, and suburban neighborhood streets. In an interesting twist, did not get rained on at all. The feet say I did too much walking and need new shoes (again?), but the soul needed that.
