hummingwolf: squiggly symbol floating over rippling water (one)

It's not just me, is it?

There are several news reports this morning about Britain exporting "blood products" at risk of contamination with the prion responsible for vCJD ("Mad Cow"). Am I the only one who, when seeing the phrase "blood products," immediately thinks about this story?

And then there's the quote from the Lewis & Clark expedition: "Ocian in view! Oh! The Joy!" Am I the only one who, on seeing that misspelling, thinks not of the ocean but of Ossian?

Right then. Time for me to get breakfast. Where are my blood Twinkies?

Don't let a few angry cows get in your way. . .

I'd still rather have real chocolate than blood chocolate, even if cow's blood is cheaper than cacao.

Am glad to provide some amusement. And yes, Spoike makes a good blood Twinkie!
