While rapidly scrolling down a page just now, I saw the words "pick myself up and throw myself forward." Looked back at the page and those words were very clearly not there.


I'm not sure I want to know.

normally i would say "good advice, that.."

except that's the advice i gave myself that led to me firing my person off into the west like a cannon ball.. only to land (and stick) in Tejas.

and seeing as i am not fond of where i am tonight.. i add this:

either aim *very* carefully or don't aim at all. either one is better than aiming badly.

Heh, sounds a bit like my typical relationship advice to anyone whose loneliness is about to overcome their common sense. It's often better to have nothing than to have the wrong thing.

Hmmm... I think I can do the not-aiming thing if I try hard enough. I don't have enough of a clue about things going on yet to aim carefully at the moment.
