Gah
Caseworker finally called back in order to tell me that she's not handling my case anymore and to give me the number of her supervisor. So I called her supervisor's number and repeatedly got, not her, but whichever poor person is handling the department's phones today. There is no voice mail for this person. There is no way to leave her a message, apparently. I am to call the office on Monday to find out if I can get food stamps, medical benefits, etc. back. Unless things can be straightened out, my Medicaid is scheduled to run out Sunday. My next doctor's appointment is Tuesday, and my very important tests for finding the cause of the symptoms currently tempting me toward blind panic is scheduled for Wednesday.
I am not a happy hummingwolf.

I hope that the supervisor is in Monday so that you can ask the super to ream out the caseworker. It would be nice if they were able to fix any of the problems too.
Would the docs do the stuff anyway, and just try to put the bill through to Medicaid?

If my new doctor had the option, she probably would; but I don't think that is possible, and the tests on Wednesday are at some clinic I've never been to before. Maybe I should just go into the ER on Saturday and see if that gets anything accomplished?

Catch 22 proves life is stranger than fiction once again
Either way... no need to panic; beaurcradiots aside; they HAVE to treat you.. then figure out what to do about it all later.
Re: Catch 22 proves life is stranger than fiction once again
Agh. I'd just like everything to be sane and rational for a change instead of generally confusing as it is now. Sure, sane and rational gets boring after too long, but it's a kind of boring I think would be restful for a little while.
