Today I've begun to deal with one thing I thought I was in de Nile about and another thing I hadn't realized was anywhere near an Egyptian river. I'm now mildly freaking out, thanks. On the plus side, I managed both to make and to receive phone calls today, so yay me.

In other news, still haven't gotten the benefits stuff straightened out and my caseworker's voice mail doesn't seem capable of recording messages longer than approximately seventeen seconds.

yay! i used to use those micro-messages to practice talking in code. like verbal shorthand.

confuses people, but then they think i need help all that much more, and it keeps me out of towers.

umm.. yeah.. i never have to give my caseworkers more than my first name, if that, after i've talked to them a couple times. can ya tell?

i never have to wait long to see them in person, either. *grin*

*grumble* now if i could just get the main offices to send me a new one and my madicaid stuff to the new address.. *grumble*

Heh. I told myself earlier this year that I was going to stop being so reasonable since being reasonable hadn't gotten me anywhere, but I still haven't managed to get myself anywhere near your level. Well, the overwhelming nature of things is why I was in de Nile in the first place. But I didn't even realize till yesterday just how much I do have to worry about in regards to new health issues... gah, I better have my Medicaid next week or I may go postal.

heh. yeah OfficialTypes(tm)just *love* that i use my own little terms for these things.

i just go with this attitude:
they certainly aren't actually helping you in the ways they Claim To, so their obvious *real* purpose in your life is amusement.

sometimes it Gets More Done. it certainly doesn't hurt... and.. well..
you aren't as bored while you wait to see what happens next.

they either love me and want to help me out, or they just want me Out Of Their Hair faster.
