Whee!
There's nothing quite like walking outside to the sight of violet flashes of lightning against a dark green sky, with the wind whipping in your hair and the scent of rapidly approaching rain, and with the knowledge that you get to walk for the next twenty minutes in this stuff while carrying two bags of groceries.
After I got the wet clothes peeled off and changed into something drier, I fried catfish by candlelight. It's so good to have a gas stove. But could somebody please remind me to buy batteries for the flashlight sometime? Thanks!
