Living Conditions
Last night while I was trying to sleep, it occurred to me to count up the number of people I've lived with.
Growing up: 2 parents, 2 brothers, 4 total.
Lived alone for two years. While looking for a new place after that, stayed with a friend for a month and a half. Friend, her sister, her niece, and for a while, her brother: 4 people.
House where I rented a room for 9 months: At various times, 6 people (though one of those lasted only a week, thanks to his being an obnoxious git).
In the five and a half years I've lived in this house: Including the two new folks who officially live here but haven't entirely moved in yet: 27 people. (Not a typo. Twenty-seven.)

I've lived with one heck of a lot of housemates.
(Additionally: 3 cats, 1 dog, a pair of mice hanging around the chimney at the old place, an unknown number of raccoons in the chimney here, and innumerable dust bunnies everywhere.)
