I love thunderstorms. I delight in the growing clouds, the breeze blowing in those first few drops of rain, the thunder rumbling, the lightning crackling, the feel of the air, the scent of the rain and the thirsty ground, the energy...

But I must say I'm not particularly fond of being awakened in the middle of the night by a loud noise close by and the smell of something burning.

I've misplaced my link to that post wher eyou talked about the double-think of perfectionism -- that one didn't have to be perfect and yet one can always do better. I still think about that.
