My Action-Oriented Side: It's Wednesday! Clothes are half-price at the thrift store today and I need new clothes! I'll go to the thrift store this afternoon!

Sensible Side: While I do need new-to-me clothes, this may not be the best day for going anywhere.

AOS: Nonsense! It's a lovely autumn day, bright and sunny!

SS: Well, yes. Forgetting about that migraine, are we?

AOS: I feel just fine! No migraines here!

SS: Not much pain yet this morning, I'll grant you, but the aura is certainly noticeable already!

AOS: I can't hear you! LA LA LA LA LA! Although... this might be a good time for a nap.

SS: We agree on something!

[The hummingwolf sleeps for a while.]

AOS, waking up: Nice nap! Now it's time to go out and do something useful!

SS: Iiiiiif you say so--

AOS, looking out the window: AGH! SUNSHINE!! It hurts! It HURTSSSSSS!!!!! What a rotten nasty evil bad migraine this is!

SS: Toldja.

The worst part of the headache was vanquished with the assistance of large quantities of caffeinated tea, but I never did feel up to leaving the house today. Here's hoping tomorrow's a better day.

Well, if you need exercise and have no good reason not to, your Action-Oriented Side and Sensible Side should both be on the same side. So who's stopping you?

(My sensible side should've stopped me from staying at the farmers' market so long when I had a headache today. On the plus side, I do have tasty apples!)
