Yes! We have chocolate!

Just got a package from one of my friends with some dark chocolate kisses inside. Now I no longer feel so deprived... yum.

Oh, for those I haven't whined to this week, I've been sick. Thought my recent delirium derived solely from sleep deprivation, but Monday's vomiting accompanied by the worst headache I've had in the last two years cured me of that delusion. I am grateful to the new guy across the hall who donated 3 bottles of Gatorade to the cause of Getting Hummingwolf on Her Feet Again. With the new infusion of chocolate, maybe I'll live through the week after all. Yay!

Of course being sick didn't help any with the job search, and the continued draining of my resources didn't help with my panicking. Was supposed to go talk to the lady at the temp agency on Tuesday, but that of course was out of the question. Argh. The other people trying to help me find a job have had no luck either, and I'm clueless myself. So if I had posted real updates earlier in the week, they'd have consisted of me whining and panicking and whimpering.

On to cheerier subjects--I took one of the quizzes floating around, the one telling you which planet you're from. I'm a child of the Sun, see?

What Planet Are You From?

this quiz was made by The Autist Formerly Known As Tim

Since the quiz asks for your astrological sign, I was half-expecting it to tell me I'm a child of Venus. Instead--and here I demonstrate once again that I know way too much about my horoscope for someone who doesn't believe in astrology--it gives me the "planet" ruling my ascendant sign, Leo. Too bad most people who know me IRL think I'm a Virgo...

what you got against virgos, eh?

(not that I care about my sign at all)

and sorry to spam, but in any case...

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Virgos (at least nothing that isn't wrong with people of every other sign!). The problem really is that all these poor people in my life who are so sure they know my astrological sign never can get it right. Not that I mind getting birthday presents a month early from the generous ones, but it does make me laugh a little.
