Tuesday ::thud::
Today I got out and voted. Have to say I am somewhat disappointed by the fact that the sticker they gave me this time wasn't bilingual, but just the English "I voted!" The dastardly Diebold machines themselves still offer instructions in Spanish, though, so I suppose it all works out in the end.
After voting, I limped my way to the nearest library branch, where I returned a few things and checked out a couple of videos I intend to watch while recuperating. From there, I limped to a supermarket, bought crackers to accompany the chicken soup I'd gotten yesterday, then very slowly limped home. Not only am I worn out, but my left foot is begging for me to stop overexerting myself already.
Now I'm sitting here with a cup of tea (Earl Grey, hot) and the realization that my higher brain functions are well on their way to shutting down for the night. Maybe tomorrow I'll get around to writing a long post? For now, I may be capable of tackling a meme as long as it doesn't tackle me first.
